Longdon Park Pupils Helping Others

Ash class invited the founder from Me&Dee Maria into school this week to collect the money have raised over the past half term.

Me&Dee is the pupil’s chosen charity as part of their community access lessons where they have been learning about how we can make a difference and how we can help others.

Me& Dee provides families and children facing life-changing and limiting circumstances find the space to celebrate the precious time they have together

From a series of different activities including guess the name of the bear, a raffle and a bake sale the children have raised £175 for the charity.

Maria was delighted to receive the money and was happy to discuss where the money would be going and what a huge difference it would make.  She also gifted each student a sports bag full of goodies.

Ash were very excited to meet Maria and all the staff are extremely proud of their efforts.  More activities are planned for the future to continue to support the charity.
