Location:         Lichfield/Burton-Upon-Trent

Salary:             £38,000 – £48,000 (Pro Rata)

Contract:         Flexible for either Full Time or Part Time.  Term Time Only

This is an exciting, new opportunity for an enthusiastic Practitioner Psychologist to join our clinical team in Staffordshire, providing therapeutic input into school settings across the Lichfield/Burton-Upon-Trent area.

About the Role

You will work as part of our specialist multi-disciplinary clinical team (SaLT, OT, Psychotherapy) to provide Psychology services within a school setting. Multi-professional working is essential to our aim to provide a high-quality service that promotes the wellbeing and interests of the children and young people it supports.

You will be responsible for providing individual, specialist assessments and carrying out informed interventions to meet the therapeutic needs of our children and young people at a universal, targeted and specialist level.

The role also encompasses staff consultation, training and reflective practice. Collaborative working with school staff and integration of therapy support within the day to day running of schools is a key part of this role.

Who we are looking for

We’re looking for a committed and enthusiastic Practitioner Psychologist. Someone with a holistic and integrated approach to care, education and clinical services would be perfect for this role.

Appropriate HCPC registration with the relevant professional body and experience of working with children & young people required.

A driving license and car are essential due to the locality nature of the role
