On The Farm
My name is Caitlyn and I am a student at Longdon Park School. I have been visiting Charnwood Alpaca Farm and I am completing an ASDAN course. I have always loved animals and I would one day like to work with dogs and cats, maybe at a vets.
During my visits to the farm I learn how to work with animals and handle them. I have administered medicine to them and fed them. I have got to know all of the alpacas and their different temperaments and personalities. I clean out all of the stable areas and take them out for walks.
I can sometimes become overwhelmed and the farm visits are a nice break, spending time with the animals in the fresh air. I am also really happy that I am gaining a qualification whilst doing something I really enjoy.
